The Krishnamurti Centre

Krisnamurti Centre

"if you assert and I assert, if you stick to your opinion, to your dogma, to your knowledge, and I stick to mine, then there can be no real discussion, because neither of us is free to inquire. To discuss is not to share our experiences with each other. There is no sharing at all: there is only the beauty of truth, which neither you nor I can possess. It is simply there."

J. Krishnamurti

Can the mind be free?

Friday, 19th June 2020 - Sunday, 21st June 2020

Our minds seem to be heavily burdened. We worry about the future, earning a livelihood, about our loved ones and the many crises of daily life. Krishnamurti points out that a mind cluttered with occupations, ambitions and in pursuit of its own goals, is incapable of looking at something afresh, as if for the first time. On this retreat participants may explore together the intricacies of the mind and investigate the possibility of freedom from all this turmoil.
