Food
The charge for accommodation includes your meals, which are all vegetarian and of excellent quality. We can offer, by prior arrangement, a vegan menu as an alternative. Please contact us if you wish to discuss your diet before arriving at the Centre.
Guest Helpers
Guest Helpers are people who have usually come to the Krishnamurti Centre as a guest and who want to come back to offer time and energy to help with the ongoing daily work at the Centre. A guest helper works for a definite period of time agreed in advance and it is based on a work exchange basis - 6 hours work per day for full board and lodging. The minimum stay is 1 week, five days of work and a two-day weekend (not necessarily on Saturdays or Sundays). As the nature of the job requires a lot of contact with the guests, we request that applicants have a strong interest in Krishnamurti's teachings. Having guest helpers also helps us to keep the daily rate as low as possible. Please contact us for more information.
Disabled Access
We welcome people with disabilities. Most of our rooms are on the ground floor and we have one room with a disabled bathroom. Please contact us if you have more questions.
Bookings
You can book via the on-line booking form or write or telephone with the dates you would like to be here, and send a non-refundable deposit of £50 to secure your booking. We accept credit cards, cheques, travellers cheques in pounds or you can make a bank transfer (please contact us for more details).
